We offer many different security products and will install them for you. We will make sure everything in your system is compatible and works properly. |
Batteries All security panels require backup batteries so that if the power fails, then the panels will still run and support the security system. The batteries should be replaced when they are dead and do not work properly anymore. We reccomend replacing all batteries every four years. |
Cameras There are many different types of cameras that we offer, such as: indoor, outdoor, dome, bullet, black and white, color, night vision, hidden, fake, internet protocol (IP), closed circuit television (CCTV), infrared (IR), pan tilt zoom (PTZ), and box cameras. |
Contacts Door and window contacts are the most commonly used. The alarm will be activated any time a door or window is opened while the alarm is armed. Hard-wired contacts are the most commonly used, but wireless is also available. Contacts work with magnets; when the magnets are separated, it sends a signal to the security panel. |
Keypad The owner of the security system will do all the programming from the keypad. This is the site where the security system is also armed and deactivated. There are different kinds of keypads due to the visual preference of the owner. |
Panels The security panel is the main brain of the security system. All the devices are hard wired to the panel where signals are sent and received. Only a licensed security business should alter or tamper with the security panel because there is high voltage inside. |
Motion Detectors This device is important if a burglar decides to break a window to get into the building. If this happens, the motion detector still catches them and activates the alarm system. There are special motion detectors that can be immune up to a certain weight, so if a homeowner has a pet in the house while they are away, the pet will not set off a false alarm. |
Sirens When an intruder breaks into a building, the siren will be activated and usually scares the intruder away. A few individuals decide to not have their security system monitored, because they believe that the noise will be enough to scare the intruder away. |
Wire Depending on the type of system being installed, there are different types of security wire to power the devices. Our most commonly used wire is 22 AWG gauge security wire. |
This is a list of our most commonly sold products. If you are interested in a product that is not listed here, please call the office and ask about it. We might still be able to install it for you. |
Signs All security systems that we install will come with signs that may be posted on your doors or windows. Sometimes when a potential intruder sees the sign, it will help prevent an intrusion. |
